Making pizza from scratch is just as fun as eating it

I was craving pizza for dinner on a Friday night and this is was I came up with.

I found a simple dough recipe from the Food Network site and made it. I then made my own sauce by quickly blending whole peeled plum tomatoes from a can with garlic, basil, oregano, sugar, salt and pepper and olive oil.

Once I pre-baked the dough, I added the tomato sauce, cheddar cheese, and pepperoni and baked the pizza until the cheese was bubbling. Just yum!
